A typical day in the village includes an hour long drive to an area that is so remote, it is difficult for people who have to pay for transportation to make it to a doctor.
We arrive by 9 AM and set up and begin to see patients. We have patients register and have them weighed .
They are called to see a nurse and their blood pressure and blood sugar is checked for adults.
The doctor sees them and they proceed to the pharmacist with their triplicate form.
The patient keeps one form and the government likes to keep one. The team keeps one for match up next year.
