We awoke to a wonderful clear, albeit cold day. Cold as in felt chilly to us and we were wearing sweat shirts in some cases. But, a beautiful sunrise rising over the Carribean bay waterfront as we waited for Tonys to open up for 6:30 AM breakfast. Last night the team found out that the construction team added a roof to the home. Now, even in rain they will be making progress daily. Of course it is not raining today on Sunday anyway. Last night we celebrated by the sea with a dinner with some local students. One of our team members did a gofundme page to pay for several local students to continue their education. Several others have contributed regularly over the years, but we have not met them...

Our last two days are coming to a close. The surgery team is completing their last cases and the village team is closing up to head back home. The dental clinic is finishing their patients, and the construction team is doing some side projects since they finished...

Time is moving at a fast clip here. We are in our second day of busy surgeries, at our second of four villages, and working hard on the house to get it ready for a Tuesday dedication. The Village Team of 29 traveled to Carmelita on Saturday. It was like a homecoming...
